Glorifying God with a Joyful Noise — with Amanda Vernon
Season 2, Episode 18 | Originally aired on September 8, 2020
About the episode
"I definitely believed that I could be in front of people, say things and sing things in a way that would reach their hearts."
Amanda Vernon is a singer-songwriter and author who knew from a young age that she had a gift. The experiences growing up listening to gospel spirituals and the encouragement of people around her gave her the inspiration and courage to launch into a full-time ministry of writing music, performing and speaking about God's love to crowds big and small. Along with that, Amanda also travels around sharing her vocation story with others—a story with twists and turns that ultimately helped her to embrace who she is today. In this episode, Amanda and I talk about her music and ministry, the graces she received through co-authoring a book with her best friend, and the ways she glorifies God with a joyful noise.
