God the Ultimate Designer — with Mariel Pahayahay
Season 1, Episode 28 | Originally aired on March 2, 2020
About the episode
"Because of other people's confidence in sharing their work, especially Catholic creatives, that legitimized my discernment and what I wanted to do as a graphic designer."
As a graphic designer and artist, Mariel Pahayahay had aspirations of designing for big brands like Nike. But as she worked on her craft, she began to crave more for her art; particularly, more meaning and depth. When Mariel saw that her art could be used as a vessel for evangelization, she dove even deeper into projects for herself, for others, and most importantly, for the glory of God's kingdom. In this episode, we talk about how Mariel first realized she had this gift, new store, and how she's leaned into her feminine genius through her art.
