About the episode
"I knew that choosing God would make me happier than I would ever imagine, and that there was nothingthat was worth turning away from that happiness."
For Coral Hillier, she had no idea that God desired to know her and have a relationship with her — it wasn't something that was made known to her while she was growing up. But when a friend invited her to mass and Coral said yes, so many things changed for her. In just a short amount of time, Coral took a leap of faith into Catholicism and recently was baptized into the Church. In this episode, Coral shares what the road to Catholicism has been like, and where she sees how God is using her and her story for His glory.

Meet Coral Hillier
Coral Hillier is a 3rd year student at the University of British Columbia, where she studies Behavioural Neuroscience. She loves learning about the different parts of the brain and how they interact to help make up who we are and what we do. She also enjoys reading and writing, and English was actually her second-choice to major in. She likes listening to music, especially if its worship, and having jam sessions with her friends. She was raised in Manitoba along with her five sisters, in a family who didn’t talk about faith. She had her first encounter with the Lord in her first year of University, and received the sacraments of initiation into the Catholic Church during Easter of 2019. She has been filled with a passion for sharing the love of the Lord and the hope of the world’s renewal with everyone she encounters. She chooses to live this out every day in the way that she speaks, acts, and forms relationships.
