Pursuing a Higher Crown and Calling — with Vea Coronado
Season 2, Episode 23 | Originally aired on October 12, 2020
About the episode
"Whether I'm explicit with saying that Jesus is Lord or not, I need to have my identity permeate that regardless."
This is the mindset that Vea Coronado brings into every interaction. Whether it's meeting a client for her business Crown and Calling, telling her husband about her day, or a quick interaction with someone on Instagram, Vea is a firm advocate for restoring human dignity. In this episode, Vea and I talk about the importance of intentional accompaniment in the work she does for Crown and Calling, her love of fashion and the advocacy that fuels it, and what it means to co-create with God to help others encounter Christ through her.

Meet Vea Coronado
Vea Coronado often has a hard time describing who she is and what she does. Through Crown & Calling, she accompanies entrepreneurs and leaders through their business and creative endeavours. She serves the young people of the Church in different capacities like organizing retreats, teaching Catechesis, and training ministry leaders. She plays dress up and advocates for human dignity and sustainability on @thecrownedstyle. She is a friend to many and a wife to one. But above all, she is a beloved daughter of God. She didn’t know that at one point, but now that she does, she's fulfilling her calling by expressing God’s love in intentional but subtle ways, through her values, work, fashion, and ministries.
