About the episode
"Being in news has really shown me how to not be afraid, to really take advantage of every opportunity and love people and treat people with respect."
Many people may know Kara Dixon from the news reporting she does on TV. Other people may see her serving the poor or teaching religious education with other members of her church community. But no matter what she does, Kara sees the importance of bearing the love of God to others - to be His hands and feet in the world and share the good news. In this episode, we talk to Kara about how she got into her news, the importance of serving others through the Church, and what the Black Catholic community has taught her about hospitality and welcoming others.
