This is The Feminine Genius Podcast: A podcast that celebrates all women of God and their unique genius.
I’m your host, Rachel Wong.
The Feminine Genius Podcast started as a conversation in prayer with God that turned into a podcast ministry that ran from 2019-2022. Spanning four seasons and over 100 episodes, these podcast episodes consist of conversations had with Catholic women from all over the world, from all walks of life, to answer this question: What does it mean to live out your God-given feminine genius?
The ‘feminine genius’ was a term that was used Pope St. John Paul II. He used these terms in two key texts that served as a catalyst for the podcast: Mulieris Dignitatem (‘On the Dignity and Vocation of Women’) and his 1995 Letter to Women.
It is with great joy that I was able to take a key desire that I felt the Lord put on my heart — to share this good news of the uniqueness of our dignity as Catholic women — with other Catholic women through this medium of podcasting. The result was not only this podcast, but also the opportunity to speak and share this message on other podcasts and other venues, giving presentations and talks on authentic femininity, our God-given gifts, and why YOUR unique feminine genius is needed and necessary in our world today.
In September 2022, I discerned that God was asking me to take a step back from this ministry to discern a different way of life, which you can hear about in this series finale episode. While the podcast may not be producing more episodes at this time, its mission still continues on through the work of Catholic women all over the world.
This site serves as an archive for the podcast to preserve show notes and more information from specific episodes.
May we never stop praising God for the gifts He has given to us, and may we never stop using these God-given gifts to glorify Him.
